French One & Two
To want is to be able to.
Vouloir, c'est pouvoir.
Why French?
French is a truly global language.
With over 200 million speakers, French is the language of business and government. Over 20% of international trade goes through a French speaking country or organization. Speaking French will not only help you find a job, but you'll also earn a higher salary!
French is also one of the most common second languages and is taught in every single country in the world.
French is also the basis for several other languages, including (partly) modern English. Students who speak French therefore tend to do noticably better in their English classes and on important tests like the ACT.
Our Goal
Fluency isn't as hard as you might think.
French is a practical skill, meaning you only learn it through practice. There are 5 main areas to study: listening, speaking, reading, writing, and conversation. French 1 covers all these through Novice Low and Novice Mid while French 2 covers Novice High and begins Intermediate Low. For more examples of what these levels mean/look like, use this guide from ACTFL.
